Installing and Accessing VMWare View

Downloading, Installing, and Accessing VM Ware View 

Step 1:

Go to http://harborview.harborhcs.com

Click the “View Client for Windows 32 bit” button to download the 32 bit version of VM Ware View Client.

Step 2:

Once you launch the installer, this window should open. Click Next.

Accept the License Agreement and Click Next

After clicking next, this should appear. Click Next.

Step 5:

After that, it will ask for the Default View Connection Server. Type in “harborview.harborhcs.com” in the field. Click Next.

 Step 6:

After entering the address and clicking next, this window should appear. Go ahead and click next.

This window should appear next. Go ahead and click next.

Now it is ready to install. Proceed by clicking “Install”.

Once the install has completed, it will show this window. Go ahead and click Finish.

You can choose to restart later.

Step 10:

Once the client has been installed, launch the application and it will bring you up to this screen. Verify that the address is in the “Connection Server” field.

Click “Connect”.

Step 11:

Type in your username and password.  Click “Login”.

*For DGIHCS users, change the Domain to “DGSETX”.*

Step 12:

Once you login, your desktop options will appear. Select the one you want. Click “Connect” and you will be connected to your Virtual Desktop.
