Quick setup (takes ~2 minutes)
- On your phone, install Microsoft Authenticator from the App Store or Google Play.
- On your computer, open aka.ms/ssprsetup and sign in with your Harbor username and password.

Choose Microsoft Authenticator and follow the prompts:
- Scan the QR code with the app
- Approve the notification on your phone
Done! You’re registered.
Tip: Keep notifications enabled for Authenticator.
How to reset your password
A) From the Windows sign-in screen
- On your work PC, click Reset password under the password box.
- Approve the prompt in the Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Enter a new password and sign in.
B) From any device
- Go to aka.ms/sspr.
- Verify with the Microsoft Authenticator app, then choose a new password.
Troubleshooting
New phone / lost phone
- Install Authenticator on the new device.
- Open aka.ms/ssprsetup and follow prompts to add the new phone.
- If you cannot approve a prompt (no enrolled device), click Get help below so IT can re-enroll you.
No “Reset password” on the Windows screen
- Restart the PC and try again. If it still isn’t there, click Get help.
